Why Unmounted Stamps…

· Using unmounted stamps with acrylic blocks allows you to see exactly where you are stamping. This means you get your placement right every time which is really important especially if it’s the finishing touch on your project.

· Unmounted stamps are much easier to store. I can store more then 300 stamps in one A5 folder. This means I can take my whole collection to crops and workshops very easily.

· Price is about half of what you would pay for mounted stamps. This means you can have twice the number of designs for the same money.

How to mount your Stamps…

· I use ‘Off ‘n On’ glue painted onto the back. This allows them to be stored on acetate sheets, pealed off and placed onto an acrylic block for stamping then returned to the acetate for storage. I store them in an A5 folder with an index sheet opposite.

· Ezy mount can also be used or the stamps can be mounted onto wooden blocks with cushioning.

I'm very excited! My first layout using MY stamps is in Novembers issue of 'Australian Paper Crafts'. I'm very happy with how it has turned out.

We have moved into our lovely new house- which is very exciting. We've been waiting for a month to have the landscaping done- the kids have been going stir crazy. Well it has finally started! I cant wait for it to be finished and the kids can have free run of the yard. Rion was very excited watching the concrete truck poring the cement for his bike run.

I've been enjoying all the crop nights and days at 'Blossies' in Morayfield. Great company, great products and lots and lots of laughs!

I'm Looking foward to a creative day tomorrow meeting up with local artist Nic Hohn.

This is a layout using the new Royal Border, Family Word Set and the greeting 'You make a difference'.

Mum really does make a difference. The kids just absolutly adore her. DD (Darling Daughter) makes her little presents just about every week. They share such special times together. I'm glad they are so close.

Our house is finally Built! This means another move! the last one for twenty years we hope. Anyway, this means I need to clear out alot of stuff and am having a big sale on saterday. Hopefully the weather will be dry.

Did a great weekend extravaganza at 'Scrapbook Obsessions' Highfields a little while ago and had a great time. More new designs have been added to the collection and that means lots more samples too!

I'm also having two dickie bird card published in the January issue of 'Australin Paper Crafts' i was jumping up and down I can tell you.

This is a layout using the flourish set, large dickie bird, diamond background, crown set and dot dot circle set.

Busy and happy!

Been very busy with both designing new stamps and projects to get published. I'm having projects published in both the November and December issues of Australian Paper Crafts. I've also organised to advertise in this mag too. It's all very exciting. The new Dickie Bird Stamps are going really well, and they are such fun to use. I'm currently working on some card projects incorporating felt with the stamps, and having lots of fun! These are the Dickie birds stamped onto A3 watercolour paper with stazon, then coloured using watercolour crayons and a water pen. I then used this as a background in a layout. Very Funky!

I demonstrated at 'Scrapbook Obsessions Highfields' my stamps for the 'Scrap the Difference' bus tour in Toowoomba on the Saturday just gone. It was loads of fun showing off my stamps and introducing new people to my passion. The store sold out 'of off & on' glue and nearly all the colorbox chalk inks too!

Met a great artist on Saturday too- Nic Hohn, she really inspired me to get back into my visual diary keeping. So nice mixing with other arty farty people. Check out Nic's work at nichohn.com.au

I'm teaching a beautiful tag class this Friday up at Higfields which should be a lot of fun!
